Riley Bellomy Incoming SPL Speech

First off I would like to thank my fellow scouts for voting me into this position. I would also like to thank the parents out there for supporting this program that we have grown up with and loved.

So for everybody who doesn't know, My name is Riley Bellomy, and I have been elected to be the troop’s new Senior Patrol Leader for the beginning of 2021. I would like to thank the past SPL and PLC for putting us in a good direction to start out 2021 with. I'm going to have some new ideas that I am going to bring to the table for the troop these next six months, some of which include getting the scouts in our troop more involved in leadership, and making patrols, and their leaders more involved. I would also like to do some merit badges as a troop some of which we haven't touched on before. We would also like to gain some new members, which would allow us to gain a patrol and become a larger troop. I believe I speak for the troop when I say that we are all looking forward to a great year in 2021. Thank You.
